The conflict is Princess Camilla is ugly. No one wants to marry her. then, the king and the queen arrange to deceive to Prince Simon by replacing Princess Camilla with Dulcibella who is beautiful and attractive.

D.    Climax

The climax of a work of literature is the turning point of a narrative work, or its point of highest tension or drama or when the action starts in which the solution is given. In the Ugly Duckling, the climax is when the prince Simon see the beauty of princess Camilla. Then they love each other, and get married.

E.     Ending

The ending in The Ugly Duckling is happy ending. Although the king and the queen surrender whether their daughter can have couple to marriage or not, finally, Princess Camilla married to Prince Simon.

F.      Personal comment

From this story, I think beauty in the face is not really important. The most important is inner beauty, because inner beauty will reveal in the face.

Look at Princess Camilla. She is ugly but has unaffected heart. She can married to Prince Simon in a long way.

Besides, this story inspires me to be a plain or simple woman. I believe that every people have their own excess. Just be your self!

Be a beautiful woman with bad attitude is nonsense. It will be different if having ugly face, example, with beauty of heart.
