Tegar-Ku Yang Dulu

Written by Siti Lailatul Hajar (Bintang Sahara) on Sabtu, 30 Maret 2013 at 10.20

Ku yang dulu bukanlah yang sekarang
Dulu ditendang sekarang ku disayang
Dulu dulu dulu ku menderita
Sekarang aku bahagia…
Cita-citaku menjadi orang kaya
Dulu ku susah sekarang Alhamdulillah
Bersyukurlah pada yang Maha Kuasa
Memberi jalan untukku semua
Hidupku dulunya seorang pengemis
Pulang malam slalu bawa uang recehan
Mengajak cita-cita paling mulia
Membantu keluarga dirumah
Sekolah dulu ku nggak punya biaya
Terpaksa ku harus mencari nafkah
Tetapi aku tak berputus asa
Pasti yang Kuasa memberi jalannya
Hidupku dulunya seorang pengemis
Pulang malam slalu bawa uang recehan
Mengajak cita cita paling mulia
Bersyukur masuk dapur rekaman
Hidupku dulunya seorang pengemis
Pulang malam slalu bawa uang recehan
Mengajak cita cita paling mulia
Bersyukur masuk dapur rekaman
Sekolah dulu ku nggak punya biaya
Terpaksa ku harus mencari nafkah
Tetapi aku nggak berputus asa
Pasti yang kuasa memberi jalannya
Dulu ditentang sekarang ku disayang
Dulu dulu dulu ku menderita
Sekarang aku bahagia…
Cita-citaku menjadi orang kaya.. ei
Dulu ku susah sekarang Alhamdulillah
Bersyukurlah pada yang Maha Kuasa
Memberi… hoo….
Memberi jalan untuk ku semua

Satu Hari Saat Aku Bersamamu (Bagian IV)

“Priiiiiit.....!!!”
Peluit kereta telah dibunyikan oleh petugas stasiun. Suara khas klakson kereta pun menyusul dibunyikan.
Aku tersenyum kecil membayangkannya.
Dalam hati aku terus berucap, “Selamat tinggal Malang. Selamat tinggal teman-teman. Selamat tinggal semua.
“Ah, masih jauh”, batinku.
“Dua apa satu bang? Masih hangat nasinya bang”, dia coba merayuku.
Sambil tersenyum, aku menjawab “Satu saja bu”.
Ia lalu meletakkan jualannya ke lantai dan mengambil satu bungkus nasi kemudian menyerahkannya padaku. Kuserahkan uang lima ribuan yang sedari tadi aku genggam. Setelah ia menyerahkan kembaliannya, aku langsung membuka nasi bungus yang baru saja menjadi milikku tersebut.
Memang benar kata si ibu penjual, nasinya masih hangat.
Aku coba menawarkan padanya. “Adek mau?”, tanyaku.
Ia menggeleng, lalu memeluk ibunya. Ibunya yang dipeluk akhirnya terbangun. Aku menganggukkan kepala menawarkan makan padanya.
“Monggo..mongoo..” ia menjawab sambil tersenyum.
“Semarang”, jawabnya.
“Masnya sendiri turun mau kemana tujuannya?” Ia kemudian balik bertanya.
Pernah suatu ketika kakekku sakit.
Senja mulai naik, perlahan matahari jatuh. Kelap-kelip lampu kini mulai menerangi dunia. Dan malam, akhirnya datang.

Analysis and Interpretation Lyric "Heal The World"
By: Siti Lailatul Hajar

"Heal The World"
There's A Place In
Your Heart
And I Know That It Is Love
And This Place Could
Be Much
Brighter Than Tomorrow
And If You Really Try
You'll Find There's No Need
To Cry
In This Place You'll Feel
There's No Hurt Or Sorrow

There Are Ways
To Get There
If You Care Enough
For The Living
Make A Little Space
Make A Better Place...

Heal The World
Make It A Better Place
For You And For Me
And The Entire Human Race
There Are People Dying
If You Care Enough
For The Living
Make A Better Place
For You And For Me

If You Want To Know Why
There's A Love That
Cannot Lie
Love Is Strong
It Only Cares For
Joyful Giving
If We Try
We Shall See
In This Bliss
We Cannot Feel
Fear Or Dread
We Stop Existing And
Start Living

Then It Feels That Always
Love's Enough For
Us Growing
So Make A Better World
Make A Better World...

Heal The World
Make It A Better Place
For You And For Me
And The Entire Human Race
There Are People Dying
If You Care Enough
For The Living
Make A Better Place
For You And For Me

And The Dream We Were
Conceived In
Will Reveal A Joyful Face
And The World We
Once Believed In
Will Shine Again In Grace
Then Why Do We Keep
Strangling Life
Wound This Earth
Crucify Its Soul
Though It's Plain To See
This World Is Heavenly
Be God's Glow

We Could Fly So High
Let Our Spirits Never Die
In My Heart
I Feel You Are All
My Brothers
Create A World With
No Fear
Together We'll Cry
Happy Tears
See The Nations Turn
Their Swords
Into Plowshares

We Could Really Get There
If You Cared Enough
For The Living
Make A Little Space
To Make A Better Place...

Heal The World
Make It A Better Place
For You And For Me
And The Entire Human Race
There Are People Dying                       3x
If You Care Enough
For The Living
Make A Better Place
For You And For Me

There Are People Dying
If You Care Enough
For The Living                            2x
Make A Better Place
For You And For Me

You And For Me
You And For Me
You And For Me
You And For Me
You And For Me
You And For Me
You And For Me
You And For Me
You And For Me
You And For Me
You And For Me

Heal the world we live in, save it for our children
Heal the world we live in, save it for our children
Heal the world we live in, save it for our children
Heal the world we live in, save it for our children

B.     Interpretation
In the “Heal The World” lyric tells about a hope to live in peace. Let me interpret line by line. In the first, the narrator attempt to awaken the unconsciousness of human that every person has heart. Besides, he also believes that in every heart of human, there is love. Choosing diction heart and love are deep. Heart is not as the same as liver. Heart is deeper and touches the inner feeling. Then, love means a very strong feeling of affection or the feeling that a person's happiness is very important to you, and the way you show this feeling in your behaviour towards them. Thus, love is more than affection. By having love, people consider other’s happiness. The happiness of other people is very important for them. Therefore, the narrator wants to remind again that every person has heart and love.
In the next line, I assume this place refers to the world or something related to the existence or relationship surrounding by creation, especially human. The narrator also hopes that the world will be better more, more, and more in long extent. He uses Brighter than tomorrow not brighter than yesterday. If tomorrow is bright, so today must be brighter. Tomorrow is a mystery. No one knows what will happen tomorrow. It could be there is day for tomorrow or not. Thus, I called day for tomorrow is like an imagination, not real. In this phrase tells that life must be better or more successful than what people imagine.
Afterwards, the narrator reveals that everything is possible. Look in the line “And if you really try you'll find there's no need to cry”. Phrase “really try” means people should be much more seriously try to gain what people hope, while phrase “there's no need to cry” means happiness. I think the use of conditional clause if is to highlight that most of people are sad/ not happy because they give up before trying in many times. Sometimes, people give up in the peak of effort, while they will get success in the one next step. However, in this line the narrator more emphasize the effort to make the day brighter than tomorrow. Thus, people will feel delight and pleasure, is like in the next line “In this place you'll feel there's no hurt or sorrow”.
Then, the narrator shows how to gain that hope. In this case, he also uses conditional clause if. Certainly, there will be requirement to get in conditional clause if sentence. In the line “There are ways to get there if you care enough for the living, make a little space make a better place” shows that the way to gain hope is so many, not only one. Nevertheless, people must keep other people and environment in a good circumstance. I think peaceful is not a dream anymore if people can keep each other. Moreover, the narrator asks people to be close each other for better life. It shows in the phrase “make a little space make a better place”. There is reducing word “for” after word “space”, because both sentences have relation.
In the next line, the narrator reveals with how many people feel ill, are injured. and
going to die. However, many people do not care about this condition. Therefore, the narrator invites to make the world normal again. The peaceful is not only for other people, but also for you yourself. Moreover, the narrator asks to make a better relation to the whole of human race. Thus, race is not a reason to be far with other people. All is same.
After telling in chronological way from human’s heart, hope, and live together in happiness, the narrator emphasizes why love is really important in life. Love is strong, means not easily broken and can support hard problem. Moreover, love also can not lie. By giving love, there will be sincerity, not lying, and love only delivers happiness and pleasure. Then, in this line, the narrator emphasize on how effort is really important. Then, you will get happiness after struggle for something and no fear there.  Afterwards, people start to get the real life, contact and communicate each other, not only existence. By those are, people always feel there is love to grow. Thus, the world become better and better.
Then there is chorus which the meaning is the same. The function of chorus is to remind again that live in the peaceful with many people will make the life better.
In the next line, the narrator says that every dream, hope, and what people imagine will come true. Besides, the world also will be normal and run well although step by step, not directly as fold the hand. However, the narrator is questioning why people still kill others by squeezing throat or punishing the soul. I think those ways are not ordinary to kill, it is like forcing people to die or live in badness, or not in humanist way. Thus, no happiness there both in dead or live. However, the narrator believes that although live in non-humanist way until died, he take a hope to the God from His Glow.

After that, in the next line, the narrator also takes a hope that although people had been dying, do not let the soul also die. And he also acknowledges all the people is his brother, means that brother has sameness in the parent, religion, or nationality in the larger area. Then, he invites to struggle together although there is sadness but the sadness of happiness. And the important thing is there is no wound anymore, all is peace. Life is without conflict each other.
Actually, the narrator realizes that it can be if people can care each other. “make a little space” can be to make closer or give chance to other people to get their right to live in peace. Thus, it can be make a world be better.
And then, the narrator comes back to message from the chorus three times.
Afterwards, the narrator also reminds to the people to make better place. It is for you and for me. He emphasizes by repeating sentence “for you and for me” twelve folds. This is also not only for you and me, but for the children, the next generation. The world is not for today merely, but tomorrow our generation may continue our live. Lets live in peaceful.

Lyrics to Never Say Never

Lyrics to Never Say Never

Some things we don't talk about
better do without
just hold a smile
we're falling in and out of love
the same damn problem

together all the while
you can never say never
why we don't know when
time and time again
younger now then we were before
don't let me go,
don't let me go,
don't let me go,
don't let me go,
don't let me go,
don't let me go

picture, you're the queen of everything
as far as the eye can see
under your command
i will be your guardian
when all is crumbling
steady your hand

you can never say never
why we don't know when
time and time again
younger now then we were before
don't let me go,
don't let me go,
don't let me go,
don't let me go,
don't let me go,
don't let me go

we're falling apart
and coming together again and again
we're coming apart
but we pull it together
pull it together, together again

don't let me go,
don't let me go,
don't let me go,
don't let me go,
don't let me go,
don't let me go(x2)
